Matias Facio

Matias first began dancing tango in Patagonia, Argentina, in 1995. His passion for dancing and studying tango took him to Buenos Aires where he fully developed his own unique style, his dance. His mind and body awareness have been enriched through styles such as Graham, Limon, Cunningham, Flying Low and Feldenkrais. Matias has been teaching and performing tango around the globe for more than 15 years.

Carla Marano

Carla belongs to a generation of dancers that helped transform tango from a popular dance form with virtually no pedagogy, into a highly-sophisticated, deeply-understood art form. This was accomplished through many years of penetrating investigation into its movement technique, technical language and musical interpretation. Carla was an essential part of this investigative process, which has fueled the evolution of the dance, and its explosive popularity worldwide.

Over the years, Carla has devised her own didactic method based on her unique approach to the dance, a system which she has been able to share with colleagues from different generations and styles. She gave courses in different academic institutions, organizations and special events in Buenos Aires, such as La Viruta, CITA, and Festivals of the City Government of Buenos Aires, among others. Since 2013 she runs the popular investigation space 'La Propuesta' with Octavio Fernandez in La Viruta and El Juvenil.

Pablo Estigarribia

Pablo Estigarribia is a world renown virtuoso Argentine tango pianist, arranger and composer that began his musical journey in Classical Music, which had its culmination when he was awarded with the 1st Prize of the "Bienal Juvenil" National Competition (sponsored by Shell, in 2005). He was awarded the prestigious Gardel Prize in 2015 for the best tango recording by a new artist, Tangos Para Piano, and the Medal of Honor by the Argentine Tango Society for his educational interventions in Stowe Tango Music Festival (Vermont) in 2014 and 2015.
